2020欧洲杯体育足球比分The Caritas Medal is the highest award bestowed by Spalding University and has recognized the alumnus or alumna of the year since 1961. It is presented annually during commencement to a former graduate of any program at Spalding University or Nazareth College who has made a significant contribution in a particular field (professional, cultural, religious, etc.) and who embodies the qualities and spirit of service encompassed in the philosophy, mission and tradition of Spalding. “Caritas” is Latin for “charity,” and is included in the motto of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, “Caritas Christi Urget Nos,” which can be translated to, “The Charity of Christ Urges Us.” The Caritas medalist, who can be of any faith tradition, is selected via nominations from Spalding’s diverse community of graduates and is recognized for his or her contributions and for exemplifying a spirit of service consistent with the ideals of Caritas. Spalding graduates are encouraged to nominate their fellow alumni for this distinguished honor.
