Making college more affordable through financial aid
Spalding is among the most affordable private institutions in the state of Kentucky. Each year, we award more than $4 million in scholarships, grants, financial aid. Spalding offers need-based and academic institutional aid and scholarships, federal work-study, and graduate assistantships. Over 90 percent of all Spalding students receive financial support (99 percent for our first-time, full-time students).

Why is FAFSA important?

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid helps determine your eligibility for federal financial aid, such as low-cost loans, grants, and work-study opportunities. It is also used to determine your eligibility for institutional aid, need-based scholarships as well as state scholarships and grants. It’s important that you file your FAFSA early as many grants and scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
